Lawyer with predominant experience in Commercial and Company Law, M&A and Corporate Governance, Banking and Finance, Litigation, Sports and Tax Law.

He provides legal advice to companies and individuals in Portugal, the USA and Brazil, in the areas of real estate, mergers, acquisitions and splits of companies, corporate governance, leasing, inheritance, contracts, registrations and litigation.

Former player of the National Rugby Team, he was Chairman of the Disciplinary Board of the Portuguese Rugby Federation between 2015-2019, and is currently a member of the panel of Judicial Officers of World Rugby, Rugby Europe, European Professional Club Rugby and Six Nations Rugby, as well as integrating the panel of arbitrators of the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

He has a degree in Law from the Portuguese Catholic University, with Post-Graduation in Labour Law and Labour Process and also in Real Estate Law, from the same University, as well as Sports Labour Law, from Lusíada University.

Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1976,  he joined Vellozo Ferreira e Associados as a partner in 2016.
